Girls on the Run:

At Girls on the Run Delaware, teaching essential life skills is the cornerstone of our research-based programs. Trained volunteer coaches facilitate lessons that blend physical activity with life skill development, including managing emotions, fostering friendships, and expressing empathy.

Science Explorers:

Our Science Explorers club is for students in first through fifth grades.

Students will explore the wonderful world of science with hands-on, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the National Science Education Standards to work together with families, communities and the citizens of tomorrow to put the wonder back into the world.

Math League:

Math League meets with their coach once weekly and participates in monthly meets in and around our region. The competitions begin in November and run through February. If our teams qualify they will be invited to participate in the State-wide Invitational. If our team(s) do not qualify for the Invitational, there is the possibility that individual members of our team may have accumulated a sufficient number of points to be invited to participate on an At-Large basis.

Odyssey of the Mind:

Students from all grade levels are invited to participate in the Odyssey of the Mind. "OM" is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Team members apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary class.

Student life at Holy Cross School is enhanced on a daily basis not just by our Co-Curricular activities, but also by a varied assortment of Extra-Curricular and Parish Activities.
