  MATH for 5A & 5B:  Review Lessons 5-1 to 5-3 for upcoming quiz. 

    SOCIAL STUDIES for 5A & 5B:    Make sure you have more than 6 bullet points "Columbian Exchange" section of Lesson 1 on page 136.  Also, categorize the items into either an item that originated from the Western Hemisphere (WH) or the Eastern Hemisphere (EH).  Do not cut out anything.  Just write WH or EH above the item.    

   5A ENGLISH/WRITING:  None. 

 5A RELIGION:    Keep Lenten Journal, calendar, and stained glass cross up-to-date.  Complete journal entries for Friday, 02/20; Saturday, 02/21; and Sunday, 02/22.  IF, for some reason, you forgot to bring home your Lenten Journal, here are the prompts:

Friday: Why do you think Catholics are called to abstain from meat on Fridays during Lent? Does your family abstain from meat on Fridays?

Saturday:  What did you give up for Lent this year? Why did you make this choice?

Sunday:  Think of all the blessings that you have in your life. Write a prayer of thanks to God, thanking Him for them.

  MATH for 5A & 5B:  WS both sides On page 73, numbers  1 - 8 all.  For 3 - 8 do not only write P or C.  If it is P, you need to state that it does not meet any divisibility rules.  If it is C, you need to state if it meets the divisibility rules of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, and/ or 10. 

AND on page 74,  numbers 5, 7, 9, 10 - 16 all.  Please create a factor tree on a separate sheet of paper for numbers 5 - 14.
