I began my teaching in 1998 and have spent my career inspiring children to discover their own creativity and love of learning. I graduated from Wilmington University, earning my Bachelor’s in Finance and Master’s degrees in Elementary Education. I also hold additional Delaware state certifications in Art.

My love of art began when I was just five years old, when I first started painting with oils. That early passion has continued throughout my life and has grown into a lifelong journey of exploring creativity. While watercolor is my favorite medium, I love experimenting with and experiencing all different types of art and artistic techniques.

Outside of teaching and creating art, my greatest joy is my family. I am married and have two sons and three grandsons. Our family also includes two grand puppies, two grand kitties, and one very feisty Biewer Terrier who keeps us all entertained! Art, family, and teaching are the things that bring me the most joy, and I am grateful to be able to share my passion for creativity with others.
