The Church of the Holy Cross continues Jesus' ministry of care to all people. For those parishioners who are not able to make it to church, the Priests, Deacons, and parishioners visit people's homes as well as area nursing home, rehabilitation, and assisted living facilities.
At several times throughout the year, our Priests visit with our parishioners, administering the Sacraments of Confession, Anointing of the Sick, and Holy Communion. Additionally, each week a dedicated team of volunteers visits with their fellow parishioners and brings Holy Communion. In some of the facilities, residents gather weekly for prayers and the recitation of the rosary.
