What are the rules governing the placement of flowers and decorations on graves? Funeral flowers are permitted and will be removed within a week following burial. Cut fresh flowers are permitted and are to be removed when they become unsightly. Artificial flowers are recommended and are to be placed in vases attached to the monument/headstone or in a plastic vase directly in front of the monument/headstone. Artificial flowers are to be removed when they become unsightly or out-of-season. All other decorations, plantings and potted plants are not permitted.
What are the rules governing the placement of flowers and decorations on or near the mausoleum & columbarium complex? Funeral flowers are permitted and will be removed within a week following interment. Flowers and decorations of any type are not permitted on crypt and niche fronts, and on the concrete walkways or grassy areas surrounding the complex. Damage due to violations will be billed to the Right of Interment certificate holder or his/her heirs.
Cemetery management can and will remove violations without notice to maintain order and the appearance of our sacred grounds. Cemetery management is not responsible for items removed, damaged or stolen.
