What are the rules governing the placement of flowers and decorations on graves?
Funeral flowers are permitted and will be removed within one week following interment. Cut fresh flowers are permitted and should be removed when they become unsightly. Artificial flowers are recommended and must be placed either in a vase attached to the monument or in a plastic vase placed directly in front of the monument. Artificial flowers should be removed when they become unsightly or are out of season. All other decorations, loose items, plantings, potted plants and glass items of any type are prohibited.
What are the rules governing the placement of flowers and decorations on or near the mausoleum and columbarium complex?
Funeral flowers are permitted and will be removed within one week following interment. Flowers, decorations, loose items and glass of any type are prohibited on crypt and niche fronts, as well as on the concrete walkways and grassy areas surrounding the complex. Any damage resulting from violations of these rules will be charged to the Right of Interment certificate holder or his/her heirs.
Enforcement
Violations of these rules may be removed without notice to maintain the safety, cleanliness, and appearance of the sacred grounds. Cemetery management is not responsible for items removed, damaged, or stolen.
