This year I am celebrating my 25th year teaching at Holy Cross. After earning my Masters in Elementary Education, I began my teaching career in Second Grade, then taught Fourth and Fifth Grades, and eventually found my "sweet spot" with my Fourth Graders. My passion is teaching Language Arts; I especially love children's literature and have taken several courses in the 6 +1 Traits of Writing.

My husband and I have one son whom I am proud to say received a strong foundation attending elementary school at Holy Cross.

In my free time, I enjoy visiting family, traveling, exploring various coffee shops and indulging in baked goods, and my newest hobby of quilting.
