10/16 - NCEA World Food Day - Tag Day $1

10/17 - Bishop Malooly visits HC - Kindergarten is singing a song for him! (Living World Rosary has been canceled on this day.  It will be replaced with the Pro Life Rosary on Friday.

10/18 - Coleman Pumpkin Patch Field Trip - Jeans & Gym T-shirt!  Pack a disposable lunch.

10/19 - Pro Life Rosary - 2:00 (This is in place of the Living World Rosary)

Upcoming…

Since we are closed for our Faculty Retreat Day on 10/31, the Kindergarten Halloween Party will be scheduled for 10/30 instead.  Weather permitting, our party will start with a Halloween Parade at 1:00 on the field adjacent to the ELC.  After the parade, the party will continue inside the K2 classroom with Halloween games and treats. Parents are welcome to attend both the parade and the classroom party.  Students should wear their Halloween costumes to school. Since they will be wearing them all day, please have students wear appropriate, comfortable fitting costumes since they will have to remove them to use the bathroom during the day.  Reminder: Toy weapons cannot be brought to school.

What’s New….

  • We will read stories, say our prayers, play games, and hear about the fun we are going to have this year in Kindergarten!  We will learn about the K2 classroom.
  • We will learn about the rules and procedures of the K2 classroom and our school.
  • We will get to know our K2 classmates and talk about being good friends.
  • We will visit our Enrichment Teachers this week, but not switch classes with K1 & K3 until next week.
  • We will take our Beginning of the Year Kindergarten Assessments.
