Our Journey of Faith

Holy Cross School provides an academically challenging curriculum that nurtures the intellectual development of its youth.  We instill in our students a life long commitment to learning as well as prepare them to be models of Christian values.  The spiritual and moral growth of our youth are within the framework of the Gospel, and the traditions and teaching of the Roman Catholic church.  Spiritual and moral development are enhanced throughout the school year as the students are afforded  the following faith-filled experiences:

  • Daily Prayers
  • Daily Religion classes
  • Monthly Liturgies
  • Prayer Services
  • Reconciliation during Advent and Lent
  • Stations of the Cross - Traditional Stations, Stations Mary's Way (as seen through the eyes of Mary), Shadow Stations, and Living Stations
  • Second grade sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion
  • May Procession for the Crowning of Mary
  • School Wide Retreat Day
  • Celebration of the Diocese Themes
  • Pre-K & Eighth Grade Prayer Buddies - The students come together on a monthly basis and participate in prayer and fellowship.
