Why Holy Cross School?

Holy Cross School strives to create a special bond among students, home, school, and church. This special bond is an investment that continues to pay lifelong dividends. The ability for Holy Cross School to build on both tangible and intangible resources is reflected in the philosophy that permeates our total education program.

A Catholic education is a challenging education, and demands high standards, strong motivation, effective discipline, and an atmosphere of caring. Holy Cross School blends all of these to foster excellence by:

1. helping students understand each person is unique and valuable.
2. exhibiting mutual respect among students, faculty, and administrators, which generates an atmosphere of care and concern.
3. joining with the family to help students understand their special place in the family, the Church, and society.
4. allowing students to explore their faith through classes and activities in scripture, sacraments, church life, and morality.  While not all students who come to Holy Cross School are Catholic, they all share experiences of faith and values.

Holy Cross School seeks to prepare our students in mind and spirit during the most formative and vulnerable time of their lives so they can live lives full of hope, joy, and peace, no matter what challenges they meet. Each day in Holy Cross School presents opportunities for students to put their values to use—in the classroom, at lunch, and during recess.  Its success depends firmly on the partnership of our parents, the first and foremost educators of our children, who provide overwhelming gifts of time, talent, and treasure.

Holy Cross School develops the whole person by challenging each student to reach his or her full potential.
