The rough draft of the essay is due on Monday, 11/13.  You can share it with me when you are finished.

Yesterday we discussed the job of the concluding paragraph.  Remember - restate your thesis using different words; summarize the important points regarding your saint; finally write your Super So What final sentence (What is the one idea you want the reader to take away from what you wrote about your saint?)

Finish your introductory paragraph.  Remember - decide on the type of hook you want to use, provide sentences to bridge your hook and thesis statement, then write your thesis statement.  The thesis statement is the main idea of the essay (What is it you are going to be writing about in your essay?)
