Final Orders for Music Shirts and Jackets for the Year

A final order for this year for those wishing or needing to purchase

a Holy Cross Music Shirts and/or Holy Cross Music Jackets

are due by Wednesday, April 11th.


No late orders will be accepted.

Music Jackets Are In!

If you ordered a Holy Cross Music Jacket for your student, 




Please have your student come by and pick it up tomorrow

(Especially if they are performing in the Tree Lighting Ceremony as I will not

be bringing jacket orders to the tree lighting event)



Holy Cross Music Jackets

Holy Cross Music Jackets are available to purchase!


These make wonderful gifts and can be worn out and about to reflect our

Crusader Pride!


These may be worn by the Band and Chorus members specifically for

community performances like the Dover Christmas Tree Lighting, Parades 

during the colder weather monthsMusic field trips and other events.


Please note that purchase is optional and not required.  Those who

choose not to purchase a jacket are still required to wear the stated

attire for parades (layered clothing under a white long sleeved shirt

with their music shirt over top) and any other jacket/coat or any

other type of outwear will NOT be allowed during outdoor cold

weather performances.


The jacket is green with a white stripe coming off the shoulder and

down the side of the sleeves. Our Crusader emblem will be

embroidered in white stitching over the left chest area. 


Names can also be added to the jacket for a small additional charge. 

There are 2 lines of personalization. Traditionally, it's the name on the

first line and what ever they are in on the second line. The first letter of the

last name is suggested. Last names are not recommended.


Ex. "Susie Q."



Sizes range from Youth XS (4-6x) through Youth XL and

Adult XS through Adult 6XL.

If you wish to order one for the upcoming Tree Lighting and

Christmas Parade, please print out the  Holy Cross Music Jacket Order

Form and send in payment with the completed form on or before

Monday, November 13th for delivery in time for the events.


Parents, grandparents and family can show their support of the band and

chorus while stating their Crusader Pride and purchase one for themselves if

Something New - Elementary Christmas Musical"S"

We have a wonderful dilemma!


Our student body is growing rapidly each year, and our new stage in the Parish Hall/Auditorium

remains the same which means less space for our starlettes. 


Some exciting changes have been made with the structure

of how we perform our musicals this year. 


We have decided to split the Elementary Christmas musical and have ALL the

Pre-K and Kindergarten classes perform ONE musical this year on their own!


The Pre-K and Kindergarten dramatic musical will be on Tuesday, December 5th at 6:30pm

in the Parish Hall/Auditorium. 

They will present "Christmas is Jesus"- a simple Christmas musical for kids

by Luke Gambill and Rhonda Frazier




Grades 1 through 5 "A" classes will perform their own

Christmas musical on Thursday, December 14th at 6:30pm in the Parish.


This years musical, "Jingle Bell Beach" by Christy and Daniel Semsen, is a faith-based spin

off with a flair similar to the movie "Pitch Perfect" and is sure to heat things up this winter!


1st - 5th "B" classes will perform their musical in May.

End of Year Checklist

End of school year checklist for band/choral students


  • Return all music to music room. Music not returned will be charged to your school account.


Band Students

  • Have instrument professionally cleaned

    (Trumpet and trombones you can do this yourself. See my 5th Grade Band web page for “how to video”)


  • Have instrument professionally serviced.

    If you are renting your instrument, this is should be covered in your rental agreement.

    Check with the store to be sure.


The earlier you get them into be serviced the quicker you will have them back.

DO NOT wait until August to have it professionally serviced or cleaned.

You will NOT have them back in time for class.

No instrument, no grade.


Begin your summer band packet. See in post below.

Read over it with your parents and make sure you return what you need to

on the first day of class for a grade and possible extra credit.

Please visit your students class tab or the document tab to

click and print for your band student.


These are considered a graded assignment and are due

back signed by the parent on the first day of band class.




Music Shirt Order Form

under the "Documents" section on my page.


All Band and Chorus students have this shirt on their school supply list.


Returning students, please make sure last years shirt still fits youas soon as possible.

If not, a new one needs to be ordered.


New students, print off this form or obtain one from Ms. S's room during your class time.


Orders will be placed ON Wednesday, September 7th. 


A performance is scheduled for September 23rd

and we will need them for that performance!
